Dear Todd,

This is my first letter to you as your wife...

I don't think that it has really sunk in that I am married, but there are times when it hits me and I feel so happy and excited. I am Mrs. Wallace!! (well not legally until I change my name but you get the idea) I am so happy that things worked out the way they did. I'm ready for the adventure of spending the rest of my life with you. I hope I can continue to make you happy.
At times I feel worried that I will fail. I want to do my absolute best to keep you and I the happiest we can be. You deserve all the best and I hope that throughout the years I can provide that for you.
I know you will love me no matter what...That goes both ways.

Thank you for being there for me through all the wedding stress.
I'm sure you are looking forward to planning the wedding in Maine [sarcasm]

Yours; forever and always

Change of Plans

Todd and I are still having a vow ceremony and reception on our original date in Maine, but after hearing how much my parents were going to spend just to get to our wedding, we decided to have a small courthouse wedding for my side of the family. We are now legally married and looking forward to our wedding up in Maine.

I couldn't be happier to be Mrs. Wallace...And now these letters won't be to my fiance, they will be to my husband.

Wedding cake pop trial #1

Going to change a few things but they weren't bad.

Whoa! Wait just a minute!...

My plans have changed a lot for the wedding... I originally planned on buying a custom wedding dress on Etsy, instead my Step Mother bought my dress this past week. I also have my shoes, jewelry, and sweater that I planned to buy later. We are in the process of trying to get our marriage license now and having a small courthouse wedding that way my parents can witness it without having to travel over 1000 miles. The issue is a little time sensitive though. We are trying to get it done before we leave from vacation but the way things are going I'm not sure it's going to happen so I guess we are playing it by ear. Thanks to my Dad and Step Mother's generosity we don't have to spend nearly as much in October as we originally planned, but I am still planning on a beautiful ceremony and reception for the family up north.
